Better sell of the Taker Situp: Bray at 31 or Cena tonight. I and everyone at the party laughed like hyenas watching Cena jumping backwards, even rewound to watch it a few more times after the main event.

Ronda Rousey / Stephanie I really got to hand it to both, they far exceeded what I expected.
John Cena / Taker
Shane/DB Shane must either be legitimately insane or truly tough as a $2 steak.

Good:
Raw Women's Title Match: it was far more competitive than I expected. Hopefully Nia can grow a bit more there's some talent there.
IC Triple Threat. It was a good opener to the main show.

WTF:
Braun/Nicholas... There's got to be some back story like Nicholas is a make a wish kid, or a kid of someone in WWE.

Which means he'll likely be there for more matches and then they'll inevitably contrive some situation where he inadvertently gets tagged in and then through stupid booking somehow gets the one up on the heel tag team they're facing because the alternative is to have a heel adult beat up on a child.

Either that or Braun power slams someone then tags him in and then they have a 10 year old pinning a legitimate WWE star.

Also, that kills the one redeeming factor that I thought may have been in all of this.

In spite of how ridiculously stupid the booking is and them making the history books list a 10 year old kid as a tag team champion, I still kept thinking that if it was mostly random (likely would have been decided before hand in reality if that was the case, but still) how it was very awesome for the random kid that got to do that and gets to point to those history books in school.

But if he's connected to an actual wwe person, even a referee, that kills that entirely.

I doubt it. Even if it's just a straight pin with nothing before hand too many people would perceive that as them displaying a child getting beat in a wrestling match and they'd take a PR hit.

I think they've booked themselves into a corner here and the only real way out is what Hammer suggested earlier...which would also be what I hope happens. I can see them maybe dragging it out a bit to force in the shenanigans I mentioned earlier and then Kurt makes a declaration that he has to get a real partner or forfeit or something.

As for the kid, yeah it's still just as awesome for him. But with inside connections as opposed to being some random local kid who won a contest or something or was lucky enough to be selected pre-show it just doesn't quite have the same level of awesomeness.

And the "ironic" Nicholas chants whenever a match is boring.... which I read apparently already happened during the Reigns match that I couldn't watch.
