Other Raw Women's Feud Sasha vs Nia Jax
They tried to push Nia as female Braun and then don't do anything with her after Survivor Series? *Sigh* Kofi had it right, they want Charlotte to be double digit champ by next Rumble!
Prediction: Sasha wins. Nia goes back to the drawing board.
Raw Women's Title:Bayley vs Charlotte
If they had pushed this up after Survivor Series then I might have more interest. Bailey hasn't connected with me and Charlotte's "Big Match John" impersonation has already gone stale with me. They hot shotted a bunch of title changes for the sake of running up numbers and its just not interesting with me.
Prediction: Charlotte retains, losing to Bayley at Mania (maybe a triple threat with Sasha, so that Charlotte doesn't have to "lose" at a PPV).
Raw Tag Team Champs: Odd Couple vs 2 Bald Jobbers. They've booked this ass backwards with the heels getting screwed. I don't see them putting the belts on Anderson/Gallows.
Prediction: Sheamus/Cesaro win.
Smackdown 6 women tag: Becky (yay), Nikki (ugh), and Naomi (raise some hell!) vs Alexa Bliss (meh), Mickie James (hmm), Natalya (<3 <3<3<3<3<3).
My feelings on these women are known by most. I hope they're going down a path of giving Naomi a push, I've liked her athleticism forever. I'm afraid Mania is going to be Nikki vs Bliss and James vs Becky. Because of Nikki.
If I'm booking: Naomi pins Bliss or Natalya, Becky and Mickie eliminate each other and aren't involved in the finish. There's your two main SD women's feuds going into Mania season.
Cruiserweight Title: Neville vs Rich Swann.
Neville NEEDS this. The division NEEDS Neville as champ if they want to try and get any of the rest over. There is such a difference watching Neville and the rest.
Prediction: Neville.
WWE World Title: John Cena vs AJ Styles.
Styles has been a good champ, but its time. I've accepted it, WWE wants its, the story is there. I won't completely be thrilled (unless something else happens with the Rumble) but I can understand the thinking.
Prediction: Cena Wins LOL.
WWE Universal Title: Roman vs KO (Jericho in the shark cage).
Match writes itself, beat the heck out of each other 20-30 minutes, Jericho drops something from the cage trying to help KO win. Does WWE want to enflame the hardcore nerds with Cena the champ on one show and Roman the champ on the other. I'm going to say probably not.
Prediction: Owens wins with help from Jericho... Again.
Royal Rumble Match:
First I'll do my favorites to win then make my usual ridiculous predictions and what I'd try to have happen.
Favorites:
Undertaker- I believe the "news" is a cop out or bs to try and give some shade. There is a story to be told with Taker/Cena, Taker/AJ, Taker/Roman. It also be a nice thank you letting the Taker join the list of multi-time rumble winners. (Odds 35%)
Jericho- This is why I think Owens wins, I know Jericho is a part timer but they have to go there with KO vs Jericho. There are those who say it doesn't need the world title but I think it would help KO working with Jericho. (37%)
Braun Strowman- This is a Vince Special and telegraph Roman/Braun match. I think cooler heads prevail and people realize thats not a main event Mania title matach. (5% mostly because Vince is still involved)
Randy Orton- They have never done Cena/Orton 1 on 1 at Mania... I'm just saying. (20% because Vince is still involved)
Samoa Joe- I wouldn't like it but it would be better than a return Balor. Because Joe at least comes with a decent size following in the states like AJ. (4%)
My darkhorse special: The Miz. If not for AJ, The Miz should be EVERYONES Wrestler of the Year for 2015. He's been great and getting even better. There is also story to be told about the decision as he feels slighted/mistreated by Daniel Bryan. You can also do Cena/Miz again as Miz did beat Cena at Mania before. I think Miz vs AJ would be PHENOMAL (I'd even try and figure out a way to do a hair vs hair match).
I wish I could throw Bray Wyatt in this group but WWE knocks know what they're doing with him week to week let alone book him to win.
In Rumble Predictions:
1 Shelton Benjamin returns.
2 New Day has a spot similar to Too Cool did a few years ago. New Day is in the ring by themselves and they start to dance, Big E throws both Kofi and Xavier over the top, they do a tandem skin the cat, look at Big E and they all have a big laugh as the next contestant comes out.
3 Triple H nails Seth with the sledgehammer before he enters the ring and throws his limp body in to be eliminated.
4 Sami Zayn goes #1.
5 Shaq shows up and eliminates Big Show and himself.
6 No CM Punk.
7 Miz comes out to DB's music then cuts to his for the heat.
My off the wall mark out moments:
8 RVD comes back
9 (risky) Kofi gets knocked off or thrown from the ring by Braun and crowd surfs to save him.
