Almost made the title seem more prestigious in a way, to me, because you simply had ONE guy that was at the top. No debating it or anything.
I guess to me, with Brock, their was still a guy to chase and beat. Yet unlike with a lot of champions, you knew he would never be booked as a beatable champion. You would would never have the feeling of the champ can lose to anyone, at any time. You get that with a lot of smaller/quick type of heels. But the longer the title remains vacant, the less sense it makes. From a company standpoint, both in story in real life, it feels like it would equate to saying you are going to take your time to hire a new GM in sports. Usually there are more people gone than just the GM, and you aren't going to replace them because you want whoever you to decide on as GM to have his guys in place. Well, the longer you go, chances are you are going to start hurting how well you work in the offseason. Harder to make trades, sign FAs, scout prospects, etc.
