Quick question for Americans, do you guys get to watch NXT on tv?
should watch it now, it can be decent as they don't do the pro thing anymore and it's pretty much a WWE TV show with their up and comers.
Only way I can watch it would be net. I don't really care that much about wrestling at this point to take time to find it on wwe.com. I'm sorry they keep shoving the Breakfast Club down your throats NXT isnt going to make that much different come national tv shows (see the drop of Bo Dallas/Wade Barrett fued). There's really only a couple guys that I enjoy watching any more... CM Punk, Bryan, and Dolph. I like seeing 3MB even though they are the new JoB squad because Slater's a local boy getting on tv one way or another. I've made my feelings clear about Wade, the Breakfast Club, and other aspects before so I won't rehash it.
Question if anyone still reads this thread does it seem like WWE has forgotten how to book stables? When was the last time a stable created at least 1 star? Evolution (Bautista and Orton)? Nation (Rock) before that? They start out like houses of fire (Nexus, Legacy, and even the Shield) with a lot of heat, then after a while you just have them there doing nothing to advance and eventually get stale. Here it is ~1 year since their debut and really what has progressed for Shield? I like all 3 guys (I think but they've been just spinning their wheels in the same place since about Mania.

Ambrose will rise eventually, even if it comes at the expense of scrapping the Shield stuff.
I've enjoyed Sandow even if they are pushing him in an idiotic feud that hopefully ends after SummerSlam.
(He's supposed to be the heel when Cody's acting like the sore loser?)

Sandow I'll watch, I love how he holds the mic as he cuts a promo. He's another that could easily join the list but I've just not been that big of a fan of the Team Rhodes Scholars run. Except for the night of 10,000 chair shots. I do think he has a better chance than Cody Rhodes does long term.
What is the one thing you wish you'd see at Summer Slam? Me personally Tap or Snap x2. Bryan beats both Cena and Orton with the Yes Lock.

I loved the Sandow cash in teaser even with it being obvious Cody was going to ruin it.
I like Cody Rhodes, but they have completely ruined his face turn. They've made him come off as a whiny baby. Still not sure about Sandow... He's great on the mic, but some of his in-ring work just isn't there... It will be interesting to see if they add the MITB briefcase to the Summerslam Match...
And now on to Summerslam... This is probably the ppv that I have most looked forward to this year... Bryan finally MAIN EVENTING a top ppv, Punk/Lesnar, Christian/Del Rio, Kane/Wyatt... All going to be pretty good matches... My predictions for the show:
Daniel Bryan via submission over John Cena, subsequently Daniel Bryan via DQ or submission over Randy Orton... Bryan has too much momentum right now for them to have him win the WWE Championship and then lose it almost immediately only to chase Orton.
Del Rio over Christan: They completely blew their golden opportunity with Dolph Ziggler, thanks to Jack Swagger! Hopefully it picks back up between Del Rio and Ziggler, and the belt goes back to Ziggles...
Wyatt over Kane: Simple enough, Bray Wyatt isn't going to lose his debut match and Kane is gonna be out filming See No Evil 2 soon...
If ever I see The Shield losing the US and Tag Titles, it's here... WWE really did not capitalize on the popularity of RVD as they have had nothing for him since returning. It also would be kind of disappointing to see Rollins/Reigns beat Henry/Big Show. Those two have done so much for WWE over the years, I do see them doing the job to Reigns/Rollins but doesn't mean I want to see it...
Rest of the card is meh, I'll critique it later if I get bored...

I don't see them killing Orton's MITB like that, though
If he doesn't cash in it'll be due to some kind of interference that prevents him from trying in the first place.
As for adding Sandow's MITB to his match I sure as hell hope not. I hate it when they do that because it cheapens the prestige of winning the MITB match in the first place.

I agree... It's a lose-lose if they have Orton cash in... You either are going to kill the momentum of Bryan, or your going to waste the MITB... I'd rather they kill the MITB, as least make it so it's not a certainty that the winner is going to win the title.
The way I see it all shaking out is Bryan taps out Cena to win the title... Triple H Pedigree's Bryan bringing Orton out and cashing in the briefcase and leaving a Heel and WWE Champion...

Why not try to build up a "redemption" story with Orton why not have him win MITB and be the first to lose it outright? He's been a man without a real focus for a while now. He's boring and stale as heck as a face. He needs to be a heel, snap, and goes away until the lead up to Rumble and have him come back looking for revenge on Bryan. This is all IMO as a fan.

The problem with him going away until the lead up to Rumble is they have Cena who's going to be out after Summerslam for some time with his elbow injury, they've got Sheamus out for 6 months, Kane is about to start filming See No Evil 2. They just brought back Big Show, but he has been wildly mediocre as a heel. He's a lot better suited to play the loveable big man. What would work great is if they turned Miz back in to a heel. The guy is a workhorse and a GREAT heel. He just hasn't been around as a face... IF they take Orton out for a little while, then they HAVE to turn Miz so that there can be a decent selection of guys to put alongside Daniel Bryan.
I like the thought of Punk in the mix for the title again, but I'm really digging this Heyman storyline and would like to see it continue until Survivor Series where you have Team Heyman vs. Team Punk in the traditional elimination match...

It could work, but I don't know if he has the capability to pull that off like Bret did... As a fan, I would love to see a double turn in the Rhodes/Sandow match and a heel alignment of Orton/Rhodes/HHH... I like Sandow as a heel, but I think he has a lot of upside as a face, plus he's already getting stale as a heel.
They've been talking about the possibility of HHH/HBK or HHH/Austin at Wrestlemania with Michaels or Austin representing Vince in a the finale of the HHH/Vince storyline. I wouldn't count out The Rock as a darkhorse to be in this match if it is indeed taking place... We all know Rocky won't pass up a 7 figure payday for 20-30 minutes worth of work...
There's just so many ways this roster can go, they just need to get a better writing team and try to plan some feuds out 3-4 months down the line... So many guys have potential (Kingston, Cesaro, Ziggler, Miz, Rhodes, Truth, Christian, Ryder (WOO WOO WOO, You Know It!), Santino) that could take off and carry the company for the next 7-10 years but are stuck in the mid card because of guys like Cena, Orton, Del Rio, Punk who are consistently at the top. I feel Kingston should have won the title a few years back when he had his feud with Orton and destroyed the NASCAR... Kingston was at his absolute best then because he could showcase his ability and it really made him open up his talking that he really improved but since has been relegated to the mid card abyss...
Yeah, I realize I've gone off on a few wild tangents, but I've been a fan for so long and there is so much I want to see that it frustrates me sometimes that WWE won't do the obvious to make their product better...
