Dont know whether to be surprised that it was so predictable or disgusted that WWE made it that predictable. Although I have to say Orton being pinned clean (even by Punk) somewhat shocked me.

I was chatting with another friend and tried my luck at the prediction scale...

Elimination order: Truth, Sheamus, Punk, Morrison, Orton winner: Cena

Actual: Truth, Orton (really surprised by Super Orton losing that early), Sheamus, Morrison, Punk Winner Cena.

First wrestling PPV I've watched in a long time and that sucked!

Just for fun going to predict what will be the full card at Mania.

Title Matches:
1) Smackdown: World Heavyweight Championship Del Rio vs Edge= Another month to build on this and most likely a new title reign will begin
2) Raw: WWE Title Cena vs Miz w/ Rock special guest referee= Rock is hosting and already taken pot shots at both men. He will have some role in this match.
3) US: Dibiase vs Bryan= Probably another match like the one tonight (dark match). DB wins via Labelle Lock. Do they ever plan on doing more with either guy?
4) IC: Kofi Kingston vs Jack Swagger= Trying to find something for both these guys to do. They seem to also be in a bit of a rut with the creative teams.
5) TT: Corre v Uso v Nexus v Santino/Kozlov v ????= Elimination match.
6) Women's: Eve v Layla v Michelle v ???= Does it really matter people are waiting on Awesome Kong.

Gimmick Matches:
7) Raw MITB: Morrison v Sheamus v HHH v Dolph (moved for storyline firing?) v Truth v Henry= Truth and Henry are filler.
8) Smackdown MITB: Christian v Drew McIntyre v Rey v Cody Rhodes v Big Show v Kane= Gives some guys a chance to impress and get a pay day on WM.

Regular Matches:
9) Wade Barrett v Undertaker= Taker comes back tomorrow vowing revenge
10)Cole and Alex Riley vs Jerry Lawler= Handicap match (I would say Loser leaves Raw but WWE would never do that) but Cole gets "squashed" early and often. I still hope he has to leave tv for a long time.

First wrestling PPV I've watched in a long time and that sucked!

There was very little chance of any of the matches being "disputed". I didnt read ANYWHERE that said Cena would lose. Common Sense would tell you that Miz wasnt going to lose to Lawler (although that was a good match for what it was IMO). They already have built up Edge/Del Rio, they werent going to upset that by derailing Del Rio now or having Edge lose.

Santino and Kozlov are a long time tag team because WWE wont give them anything legitimate to do. They only got the belts to build up Cena being fired and making Nexus' life hell.

Welp the third amigo is back joining Super Cena and Super Orton. Super Trips destroys the man who "put him on the shelf" to start raw. Maybe the rumors of the writing staff hating Sheamus has some validity and thus why he's been completely squashed.

Really sad to see Edge forced to retire. Seems like the stars born during the Attitude Era are dropping like flies now :-(. About the only ones left (that wrestle nearly full time) are Kane, HHH, Christian, Golddust (1995 "debut"), Big Show. They're going to need a huge boom in pipeline from the younger guys soon because all the "stars" are old. Even Orton is 31 now.

Is Punk really gone?

I highly doubt Vince would let the shenanigans that took place go on if Punk was really leaving and all the rumored (legit) tension was still present in actual contract negotiations (the real ones, not the staged one on Raw). Because of that I've been under the presumption that they really had him re-signed and figured some kind of Vince-Punk alliance swerve was going to happen at MITB.

If he wasn't really re-signed I figured he'd either lose to a Super Cena hulk up or the MITB would be cashed in right away.

And on that note, I didn't watch the ppv but read that Vince tried to use that...did Alberto cash in and fail? Or did Punk just get away without giving him the opportunity?

You'll see Husky Harris, the son of I.R.S stick around as well.I'd think he'd make a somewhat decent add on to "Nexus" with "Double S" out of action.Watson, and the black John Cena form a tag team. I see it now.
