We're supposed to believe Santino can knock someone out for the 3 count just by jabbing them in the shoulder with his fingers? And if he can do this why doesn't he just start the match with it?

i'm not a fan of sacrificing the feasibility of a move for the sake of comic relief, especially not when they start giving the guy titles.

The tag team championship lost its luster many moons ago. They have deemphasized them to the point where its not that important. You can barely name any former tag team champs because every time they lose the belt within a month theyre not together. You don't see multi time tag team champs like the Steiners, LoD, Freebirds, Dudleys, the Hardyz, etc.

They are throwing people together and making them champs (McIntyre and Rhodes). There just isnt the tv time for good tag teams any more. The days of making Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, etc out of the tag team divsions are over. Theyve emphasized singles competition and they don't allow/have the time to build true tag teams up. The Cobra gets reaction from the audience, unless wwe plans on making Santino anything more than a tag team the Cobra's fine and probably could sale some merchandise if marketed.

They don't intend on pushing him for anything more than a midcard side show for a while or else they'd give him anything else. I mean even David Freaking Otunga uses the spinebuster as his. And Otunga is about as worthless in the ring as they can find!

I beg to differ.

While I've never been a huge fan of the leg drop as a finisher at least it's a huge guy jumping up and dropping his leg on somebody's throat.

The Warrior Splash is kind of tame for finisher standards, but it's still someone being benchpressed and dropped on the matt.

The Big Show knock out punch is definitely feasible. I'm sure if The Big Show wanted to he really could knock somebody out with those boulders he has for fists.

None of those three compare to Santino putting on a flashy production just to jab someone with his fingers.

As for Otunga's finisher, you'll get no arguments from me that it's lame but at least it's still a legit wrestling maneuver.

But its not TNA's premier focus either. Their focus is bringing back and polishing up old turds (Hogan, Bischoff, Russo, Dudley as solo, Jarrett the MMA moron, the Band, etc.

By the way the spike in viewers was to see the Whole Dam Show... *Sticks out thumbs like a kid* R V D!!!

TNA had an opportunity to provide a contrast to WWF what did they do? They bring in all the WCW rejects and become the end of WCW lite. People turned them off and they're still trying to recover. The "genius" who thought it was a bright idea to bring Russo, Bischoff, etc aboard should be quartered at the next TNA show.

As I have said before they had a unique look, unique style working for them within the X division. If they marketed that as the high impact, "premier" championship I think they could have made WWE respond. As long as they are WCW-lite Vince is going to the bank laughing at the idiots.

Trying to get the discussion going again but I must admit when Santino rolled out fo the ring I was laughing my butt off at the thought he might roll back up and dump someone over the top to win it. I'm sorry I would have found that HYSTERICALLY AWESOME, and about a FIFTY on the scale if it had been on Cena.

Also kind of disappointed in the Rumble Match as a whole. What's the point of expanding it if half the Rumble is going to be dominated by Nexus and Cena? Leave it at 30 let it get crowded and then have Kane do what he does.
