I agree but this would be a lame way to go about it.

First of all, Nexus doesn't really have a stonghold over the company like they're making them out to have in commentary.

Secondly, he's joining reluctantly. It would have been better (for a heel turn) had they set this match up as a main event (which they could do if Nexus had the kind of heat they could have had if handled better) and Cena kills it by just laying down.

Of course, that'd kinda kill the ppv by killing the match so that probably woudn't be doable for that reason, but I'm more focusing on s/l purposes here.

If the intention was a heel turn they probably would have done it during the 7 man tag. Also remember what exactly followed the "Fingerpoke of Doom" match.

Yeah, that probably wouldn't be the best way to go about it but I was more focusing on the general concept of Cena willingly joining them.

Probably canned film they have already cut up for such occurances. Although the Kids I would believe was geniune.

Probably. Maybe try and give more credence to some of the under card guys. I still say that Slater as a face at the NXT finale was the 2nd most over face of the group. Team him and Cena and see what happens. At least until Sheffield comes back.

I figure this is the worst thing to happen to Barrett and Nexus. The writers don't have the testicles to actually make this work, so in two weeks on Raw, they have the rematch, Cena wins with the usual, dismantles the entire Nexus and everyone goes their own way.

The only disappointing thing if the Nexus disbands? Justin Gabriel being typecasted as a face. Man, does he look sinister before those 450's?
