I went to Backlash last night. Apparently, it's the first even ever that had all 3 major titles (WWE, World Heavy Weight, and ECW) change hands. Here are some pics. I have more, but I figured I'd just post a few.

1. the stage

3. Jeff Hardy after Matt Hardy said "I quit"
4. HHH being stretchered out after Orton "punted" him
5. Cena and Edge on the stage just before Big Show choke slammed Cena through the stage spotlight

Edge and Cena ran right through our section onto the concourse before ending on the stage. There was a huge fight in the crowd during the Hardy match, too. all in all a good time. it's only the 2nd time I've ever been to an event (the other being a house show when I was 8 or 9). It was part of my birthday present from my g/f.

i actually read it was one of the better ppvs theyve ran in a while. im actually semi intrigued to watch tonight... although edge, jericho and christian are on the other shows right? still, gotta assume cena and triple h arent gonna be on tonight, so thats an infinite positive. i dont mind hhh but cena is unbearable. i dont even know whos on raw anymore... orton and mvp are about the only two guys who are kayfabe healthy for tonight i guess.

I think Edge and Jericho are both on Smackdown, but they don't really go by the split anyway.

I was pretty surprised that even 2 belts changed hands, I mean, Edge had to win to get a belt back on Friday's, and Orton's been pretty much outsmarted at every turn by HHH, so he had to win, I guess(still didn't think he would).

I don't know, if it was Wrestlemania, I guess I would've been pleased. For Backlash, I just can't see myself caring.

and will John Morrison get a match at SummerFest? The guy has only been on 1 PPV since the draft (Judgment Day against Shelton Benjamin). what else does he need to do? I mean, I know he has average mic skills, but the guy has put on great matches with everyone he's been in a match with since then. The Miz and Ziggler get multiple PPV matches, but not Morrison? If they don't make the Punk/Hardy match a triple threat match, then I don't see him getting on the card since he's not exactly feuding with anyone.
