Any thoughts that a Bryan win and it happens again? Sandeau cashes in with some "loophole" and becomes the new WWE champ spinning off Sandeau/Bryan and Rhodes vs Orton family?
He has the blue case. Sandow can't cash in on Bryan. (or Orton)

The only reason I bring this up is that there was a lot of rumors that the original plan Rock/Cena 2 was for Rock to win again and they wanted that point for Ziggler to cash in. At the last minute it was changed to Cena winning and Ziggler cashed in the next night on Del Rio.

Whoever started those rumors had no idea what they were talking about because Ziggler didn't have the case to cash in on that title.

Some people don't seem to realize the MITB contracts are title-specific.

Sandow cannot cash in on the WWE title because he has the World Title case.

And I realize the E isn't always model of consistency, but having someone cash in on the wrong title is way too much of a stretch even for them.

In Slyders defense, Sandow DOES NOT have the blue case. Despite him winning the World Heavyweight Title MITB Contract, he now utilizes a brown briefcase... There's he loophole, and with the Triple H power trip, is it really that much of a stretch to think they would have Sandow cash in against Bryan if he were to win the title again? To be honest, I didn't even think of that possibility, and it could further add to the Sandow/Cody history and give Bryan a fresh face in Sandow to go up against...

It doesn't matter what color his brief case is, he won the match for the World Title contract

Yes he did, but it's not a stretch to have Triple H allow Sandow to cash in against Bryan. It would add a whole new dimension to Trip's power trip. Do I want to see it happen? Of course not. I'm not a fan of Sandow, but this would cheapen his presumed title win and he would be nothing more than a glorified paper champion and kill any chance for him to be a top guy...

The focus of this s/l is that Orton is the face of the WWE. Why would he suddenly change that "face" on a whim?

I'd much sooner see HHH create an on-the-spot MITB match that Orton immediately wins so he can cash in again before I see them breaking consistency with Sandow's contract.

And I obviously don't see that happening either.

I really don't see a good time to blow this off, the next "big 4" is survivor series in November and I think thats pushing it too far. I kind of wish the WWE would bring back the War Games theme as one of the matches at Survivor Series but I've said that since WWE bought WCW. But are you going to put Bryan over at a brand new ppv like Battleground? Thats the payoff? If its not happening Sunday they really need to develop the overall story involved. Right now its DBryan shows up, fights like hell, swept up under the numbers game, Orton comes out and looks stupid as only he can. You can't do that for 2 more months. IMO.

So, I just read that Ryback helped Heyman win his match against Punk after Axel was eliminated.

Makes sense, I suppose. Teaming him up with Heyman is better than having him beat up random nobodies and announcers in the back every week.

That's about the only thing that might make Ryback salvageable....

What do you all think about HHH throwing Shield under the bus in that 11 on 3 handicap match vs the Raw Roster? I loved the spot at the end when Bryan, Usos, and Ziggler surrounded the ring and ambushed Seth.

I don't get that at all. It doesn't make any sense, both from a booking standpoint or from a storyline standpoint.

From a booking perspective, if you want to face turn them eventually then fine, I get that. But not now. As it stands right now it's HHH/Steph, Orton, Del Rio, Sandow, Shield and a very reluctant Show with the rest of the roster being faces (not counting Punk vs Axel/Ryback as they seem to be the side storyline). You turn the tide way too much in the faces' favor if you face turn the Shield now....when the angle is supposed to be Bryan overcoming the odds. Makes no sense.

From a storyline standpoint it also makes no sense. Why would HHH deliberately throw them under the bus? It's one thing to use the typical over abuse taking advantage of them for their own agenda angle, where they get thrown under the bus by happenstance because it helps the main villan's agenda and the villan doesn't care because his agenda is being met. That's time tested and works.

But that's not what happened here. He just for no apparent reason makes them go 11 on 3? Like, he just wants them to get their ass beat for shits and giggles?

As an aside, the segment with Orton beating up the Miz in Cleveland in font of his parents was unintentionally hilarious with how disinterested and uncaring the parents looked the entire time.

His mother threw in some token hands-over-the-mouth gestures from time to time, which at least gave the editing crew something to work with in the recap segment the next week, but overall neither looked like they gave a shit that their son was getting his ass beat in front of them.

At the same time could someone have felt this was needed to get to the ending of Bryan "leading" with the Shield type assault with the Usos and Ziggler? Showing how Bryan was a "leader of the locker room"? Building up the main event further for a temporary beating for Shield. I as a fan enjoyed that spot didn't understand the 11 on 3 aspect of it. I didn't get to watch most of Raw because I wanted to see Raiders/Broncos game and see where exactly Oakland stood with the best.

Also what are they going to do with the Wyatt family? Seems like they had no idea on what to do after the Kane match. Did he not get over, the matches just not getting the desired reaction, or just the typical lack of planning by WWE to follow up Kane with another face to squash (like a Ryder or Santino?)?
