Sheamus really needed that King of the Ring crown, eh? All to have a King Sheamus vs. the King of Kings HHH. I think Del Rio or Morrison needed it a little more than a two-time WWE champ.

Its the same thing they did with Booker T. They made him KOTR and then had Trips come back from injury to de-throne him. Only this time, I think it might wait until the Rumble. Think of it, Sheamus eliminates the next to last guy and all of the sudden Trips is the 30th man. They then feud for the 3 months between RR and Mania.

BTW, from what I've read, Cena will be "fired" until after the first of the year.

Just when you think the WWE cannot get any more predictable they have Kane and Edge face each other in a match where the winner determines the stipulation of their match at the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay per view and Edge (winner) picks....wait for it.... a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match!

I read an article/report that said HHH was running RAW creative on Monday. That explains why Sheamus won.

I'm not sold on Morrison, honestly.

I'd rather have seen Alberto Del Rio win it. But Mysterio costing him the match was almost as predictable as Edge picking the TLC stipulation for the match against Kane.

Yea, Morrison needs some work on the mic for sure. But then again, it's scripted so they only work with what they're given. I think we can all agree that Sheamus is the person who needed the win the least out of all the other contestants. Politics wins again. It's the same reason why both Cena and HHH will break Ric Flair's record...that and the fact that titles change hands way too often now. I know politics has always played a role, but when your buddy is almost running the company...you're set.

First post in the thread for the new year and I must say I think my interest in wrestling's about to die again. Considering the past results of guys thrown out of Nexus with Slater AND Gabriel both walking away. Give it a couple weeks just to see how/where theyre going with Punk.

That whole initiation thing was stupid and I think they did it just so they can force an excuse for Slater and Gabriel to walk away.

So now we have the Nexus once again getting much smaller right when it looked like they were supposed to get stronger. Meanwhile, Slater and Gabriel will probably go on to be the boring typecast faces that people with their skill sets usually end up being.

Gabriel was perfect just where he was. He was just sinister looking with that 450. Plus the fact that unless you're last name is Hardy or Mysterio there isnt a cruiserweight in the lot that is taken seriously just adds to the likelyhood that Gabriel even with his in ring ability will be squashed from here on out.

Any idea if Tarver or Sheffield are ready to come back soon? Maybe again they don't want it to get to bloated and that would explain Gabriel and Slater "moving on" to make room for either/both of them?
