Can Orton and Cena live up to past 60 min ironman matches or will it be a minor flop?

I don't think anyone gains anything out of the 7-man tag really. It's not elimination; it's a regular tag. It seems like it will be a cluster-**** to be honest. Way too many guys. All hell will break lose and someone will get pinned during that, but I don't see it elevating anyone really. If an up-and-comer pins an established guy, then I could see it leading to a feud which may result in elevating that guy...but otherwise, this match alone isn't going to do much IMHO.

Escobar was a champ down in the development territory in Florida, and I think he lost the title to McIntyre, so its nice to see these guys getting some bigger time slots.

if i had to guess... theyll make mcintyre look good most of the match. but youd have to guess the pinfall will be jericho on hhh/michaels, after big show hits the punch or choke slam or whatever he does now on one of them, leading to dx/jerishow for the belts.

Don't read below if you don't want Friday night SmackDown to be spoiled for you, but...

    SPOILER
The 7-on-7 match has changed. They had a match similar to the one on RAW except that the whole team would be replaced instead of just the guy getting pinned. Shad was "sick" so Ziggler, Escobar, Drew Mc, and JTG faced Fat Hardy, Finley, Hart Dynasty, and R-Truth. Fat Hardy pinned JTG after Finley clubbed him. Now it's Jericho, Kane, Fat Hardy, Finley, Hart Dynasty, and R-Truth vs. DX, Big Slow, Kofi, Thwagger, Rhodes, and Mark Henry.

wow, I was way off. I only got the Undertake pick right. Miz beat Morrison because Miz needed the win more. Cena made Orton tap out with 4 seconds left to win the iron-man match 6 - 5. Team SmackDown won thanks to Big Show turning on team Raw. SmackDown Divas won. SmackDown won the "Bragging Rights Trophy" for winning 2 out of the 3 matches that were SD vs. Raw.

I'm not sure. I really only looked at the end of the action (reading about it online). They weren't involved in the ending it seemed.

He'll still take tv time though that could be better used.

Yeah, but they'll give him some sort of "authority" role, something that they already use, only now, they can have hype around him instead of "Dixie Carter".
