Sad part is that Petey Williams was let go earlier this year.

I rate Homicide' "Da Cop Killa" up there as well.

CM Punk's GTS is up there as well, one of the few WWE's finishers I really like now

I don't think Morrison is hurt. I guess they're just bringing him along slowly. With Jeff Hardy supposedly "taking a long break" after SummerSlam, perhaps they'll give him that main event push.

I can only guess the reason they've been giving Ziggler the PPV matches is because of the lack of heels. Of course, now it looks like they're going to get behind Fat Hardy again, too.

Is it just me or does this SummerSlam card seem mostly terrible?

WWE Championship: Orton vs. Cena ()
Unified WWE Tag Team Championship: Jerishow vs. Cryme Tyme (meh)
Intercontinental Championship: Mysterio vs. Ziggler (has some potential, but doesn't do much for me)
World Heavyweight Championship: Jeff Hardy vs. Punk (look for Hardy to lose the belt)
DX vs. Legacy (who cares? you know DX will win)
Khali vs. Kane (has no business being on the summer version of Wrestlemania)
Swagger vs. MVP (has potential, but they haven't been allowed to do much on RAW to really build this up)
ECW Championship: Christian vs. Regal (should be on ECW, not SummerSlam...no way Regal wins and he doesn't deserve a PPV match when there are plenty of up and coming guys that deserve a shot)

I would not pay $40 or whatever for this, would any of you?

I wouldnt either but I think a Hardy, Punk, Morrison triple threat would have saved this card.

When they had Morrison vs. Hardy and then Morrison vs. Punk again on SmackDown, I thought for sure they were going the triple threat route.

I've never bought a WWE PPV. I guess I just meant hypothetically would you. If I were someone that did buy PPV I honestly wouldn't pay more than $10 for this...and that's probably a stretch. There isn't even 1 match that makes me go "wow, that should be a terrific bout!"

They tell everything on Raw anyway. Whats the point. And you can go to the site match by match.

Isn't the GTS a knee to the face? Is that even finisher material? It's like a tangent of lame of the lame finisher Cena does.

yea...he did get choke-slammed by the Undertaker last night after he won the title. since Hardy will be gone after tomorrow, it appears Punk will feud with Taker.

Yeah, I'm not too impressed with the GTS. It's one of those flashy moves that leads to a so-so hit, which is supposed to be what puts the opponent out.

Wrestlers knee their opponents in the head all the time. Is Punk's more devastating because he holds them on his shoulder first?

Just like Cena's, it's nothing more than a glorified fireman's carry. I guess taking a few steps and grimacing his face makes it more brutal.

My favorite lame finisher, though, has always been the Worm. All that lame set up and show just to culminate in a karate chop to the chest.

MVP's ballin' isn't much better...it's like the caveman knuckle, errr, five knuckle shuffle except he use a dramatic elbow. Bring back the Vader Bomb!

I was always a fan of Jeff Jarret's finisher + guitar shot.
