it's SummerSlam. Guest host Jeremy Piven called it SummerFest by accident a couple weeks ago, Cena corrected him quickly, and now it's been sort of an "inside" joke.

and I'm all for DX if it gets HHH out of the title picture. Now if only they could do something about Cena and Orton. ugh, Raw has just been so stale and it's always the same people at the top. Smackdown has been much, much better since the draft.

yeah i can't stand Raw right now, no one else is getting a serious push other than Orton/Cena/HHH and its beyond boring, more so than ever.

one of the worst PPV was SummerSlam 08 with guess who as the main event Cena vs Orton, then to have it again, a year later it just bad

talents like Swagger, Bourne, MVP, Carlito (if he's serious) can't get a serious push for whatever reason, also Ted DiBiase Jr. needs a single push as a heel or face.


I really like Smackdown much more right now with Punk/Hardy headlining and they have a new star in the making in John Morrison

and if pushed right Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith (Davey Boy) could add to the brand in a big way

how does mark henry go from beating randy orton clean, and having chris jericho run away in 2 straight weeks... to being in a fued with chavo guerrero. how isnt jack swagger and mvp in the main event by now? how do you push the miz for weeks on end and let him throw decent promos out there every week, just to be squashed by cena in 2 minutes yet again.

oh i know how... triple h and john cena are on that show. who needs a fresh face when you have the two greatest ENTERTAINERS of all time.

i dont watch smackdown so i dont know about that so much... but ecw is a far superior show to raw. they got a few up and comers... zach ryder, zeke jackson, sheamus o shaugnessy... that are gonna be big time soon, like kofi, cm punk etc were when it first started. plus the fact that christian is on the... more or less... minor league show, is an embarassment unto itself, considering hes probably the best overall face wwf has in terms of in ring talent and mic skills. yet week after week, christian provides the match of the week among... at least raw and ecw. zach ryder 3 weeks ago, the hardcore match with dreamer last week.

Christian does need to be moved to Raw or SD, what a waste he is on ECW, but I fear the writers on Raw will just keep him down where the Swaggers and MVPs are and keep going with the boring trio

when Christian came back he was suppose to be the driver that almost hit Jeff Hardy (if anyone remembers) but Vince took him off due to the storyline leaking to internet (big shock) and when with a heel turn for brother Matt Hardy instead

I gave up on WWE after they "won" the invasion and scaled back the type of moves the high flyers could do and put more emphasis on the women.

Yes the women are great eye candy but hardly any of them could actually wrestle.

I watched Raw last week out of shear boredom and doesnt look like Ive missed much. Legacy vs HHH is the same, Cena vs Orton= Same, No Real Tag Teams left= same, special guest host of Raw= meh... funny that it was the Sarge in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Calgary Kid=The Miz... meh would have perfered it to be one of the Hart kids.

HBK as a "chef" best part of the show.

Wish theyd like MVP and a few others try and show theyre more than just IC type mid-card fodder.

Morrison I thought was injured. But there is some guys that have no business in summerslam. Now to Morrison I think he time will come soon enough. He is feuding with Punk right now. I think whoever wins between Punk and Hardy, Morrison gets the next shot at the belt.

TNA Wrestling to me is the one to watch. WWE is all the same talent wrestling the same people over and over.. There needs to be a change there.

If TNA ever truely pushed the X divsion and some of the guys like AJ, Samoa Joe, and some of the younger guys they could very easily compete vs WWE, but like others have said the old WCW Farts have to give up the spotlight for that to happen.
