I doubt they drop Asuka's undefeated streak to a cash in, so odds are if it happens at WM it means Asuka's fighting Bliss and she cashes in on the winner of Charlotte and whoever she's fighting.

I suppose I can see Vince ignoring that "rule" though and she just keeps carrying it? Are they having another one this year, though?

theres too much going on, on raw. charlottes been feuding with ruby riot, on smackdown... not exactly a wrestlemania match. and the way they flutter around asuka can cash in on whatever champ she wants blah blah, i feel like theyre foreshadowing asuka going to smackdown. smackdowns women need some star power, and charlotte vs asuka is a match that hasnt been done before. nia got pinned on a fluke roll up, sasha and bayley had their break up last night, they can tie it all together and have them all chase alexa.

Well now that you reminded us that Carmella has more time she doesn't even have to factor in at all anyway, and this all makes sense and is about what I was guessing anyway.

probably not as bad as it sounds. first, i think its always a positive to get undefeated streaks out of the way... they usually end badly if thats the only part of the gimmick you have going for you (goldberg being the exception, not the rule). i think asuka is above the streak anyway, since she hasnt been made to be unbeatable and invincible... theres been a couple close calls. so if you end the streak in a great match at wrestlemania, it wont hurt her, and you can get that out of the way. and then, even though im not a fan of carmella, it gets her major heat for ruining a big moment like that. plus, now arguably your two best women wrestlers, and two of your bigger female faces, are now chasing a major heel for the belt, which faces chasing the heel always works better in my book.

i just wish it was a better wrestler than carmella, in the carmella role in this hypothetical.

In Corbin's case, he unfortunately pissed Vince off when he got testy (and rightfully so from what I understand) with WWE docs spewing concussion stuff since Corbin is part of the NFL lawsuit, and his cash in went out with a whimper. Carmella has just straight up kinda fallen way back as the Riott Squad and Charlotte, Becky, and Naomi have feuded. Perhaps that's the idea, we kinda forget about her to make her cash in that more surprising

i didnt see it yet, but just based on this description, i cant wait for another month of them trying desperately to make roman the face and brock the heel.

Yeah, I don't have high hopes of anything going forward, especially if the Brock no-show was planned as I am 99.99 percent positive of to set the promo up.

But in a bubble he looked good just for today...as a face, IMO

Mania should be a time for BIG FIGHT Matches, more so than any other "special event"/PPV. Braun's too white hot right now to just squash the Miz and whoever in a multi-man IC match. Plus who's a legitimate story with him at this point for the midcard? I don't know how you get there but there's one off the page option if you can't get the Rock at Mania... HHH vs Braun. Like I said I don't know how you get there but Braun would be wasted in the midcard at Mania for the year he's had.

clearly wwe agrees and theyre gonna let him squash elias on the pre show. much better option than being involved in the multi man match for the ic belt with miz, seth and finn.
