I've never been a Rusev fan but WWE builds him up just to feed him to Cena and Orton. The fact he's still fairly high on the food chain is remarkable to me.

Now if they didn't sell Lana out to be just another lady on the roster.

i read the other day rusev asked for his release if he isnt booked better. that feud he was in with dolph, summer rae and lana really did nothing for any of them. it felt like they all just became irrelevant immediately after that, and they havent given us a reason to care for any of them ever since.

It's happened too often with the Fantastic Four. Rusev had something to keep the wheels going and to keep him relevant. But he's not been near where he was when he was thrown under the tank at Mania vs Cena.

i do kinda find it funny though, with all the bitching slyders done over the year about careers getting squashed to cena and orton... i think we just saw tonight what wwe thinks of corbin and rusev in that same thought process.

With the specific person in question you can perhaps make an argument for the whole package. He's certainly going nowhere right now.

But every time John Cena and Orton wins a match you act like his opponent's career is over.

I'm tired of Cena and Orton, and theres many just like me (look at the ratings in the Fantastic 3s era), it's therapeutic for me to complain.

I still have enough to keep me viewing but as soon as I see guys I like vs Cena or Orton I change the channel because its telegraphed where it's going.

Or should I bring up the names from the past?

They're not the problem though. They're just the vehicle of bad booking and backstage politics.

If they retired today they'd be immediately replaced by Roman Reigns and, I don't know, maybe Sheamus.
