I smell major repackage and this is mostly a way to get him off tv for a while.

It just really has to be the worst timing for a suspension so far in WWE

Really, though, Battle Ground is past the 30 day window. All this really costs them in terms of the storyline is a few promos from Roman.

They can kill time having Dean and Seth fight each other then Roman comes back right before the PPV to still be in the match.

It might actually make for a better heel turn even if they decide to go that route.

Of course, they may just scrap it anyway since he wouldn't be involved in most of the promos, but given the timing of the title change I can't imagine they didn't know this was coming before Raw.

Yeah a lot of the dirt sheets already shot down the idea of him coming back for it. I could see the upside to it, but in terms of actually promoting the event it sucks. Although him ruining the Main Event seems like an option, have Dean as champ go to one brand and Rollins/Reigns get into fighting for the other brand's title. So there is still a flow to it either way...

But if they wanted to make him full blown heel just have him cost Ambrose the belt and Rollins goes to the other brand as champ. I guess the biggest question is, who would've walked out with the belt after a triple threat? Considering in that situation you can put it on whoever you want and not necessarily make anyone look weak.

did they already confirm there would be two world champions? i hate the idea of two world titles. the world champ should defend on both brands, and once he loses the belt, is brand exclusive to whichever brand has the new world champ. as in... rollins is on smackdown, rollins beats ambrose, ambrose now goes to sd and rollins defends against both brands. it would also elevate the ic and us titles as being the top brand exclusive titles, and maybe bring it back to where the champ is automatically a number one contender.

same thing with the divas champ and tag champs... have them defend on both shows. us and ic are the only belts that would be brand exclusive.

I want only one... but think 2 is the likely scenario.

They want to be able to advertise a "World Title Match" on both sets of house shows. I bet it will happen like the last time. It will start out as 1 and then (insert champ here) says screw you (Insert show here) and they introduce a new world title.

I know what you mean. I was just being sarcastic. I never liked HHH, he was the original John Cena except he actually turned heel. He hardly ever lost and when he did they made sure that you know he was still better. I thought he'd moved past that with the Daniel Bryan stuff but then enter Sting.

Love him or hate him Vince knew when the time was right to take his beating and that added to the mystique. HHH and Steph need to learn that as well if they're going to be an on screen authority figure for a long time like Vince was.
