i have no idea where theyre going with orton, cesaro, owens and sheamus... seems like some type of muddled number 1 contendership match.

cena vs rollins for the world title, if not a unification match
taker vs lesnar in hell in a cell [or is that still its own pay per view?]
reigns/ambrose vs wyatt/harper
ziggler vs rusev
and some type of divas match featuring the 9 girls battling right now.

Sheamus in that situation should do exactly like he did last night. Walk out (thank God Cesaro was on the face side), he shouldn't need to he has MITB.

I really wish they had more/better plans for Wyatt. I was wrong I thought last night was going to be him walking into a superman punch/spear combo. They try and make him this cerebral mind games guy but during the matches he's largely the usual chicken crap heel. He IMO should look at going into a Mankind sort of way if they are going to keep going with the video stuff rather than him actually be there.

I'm starting to feel bad for Rusev. No way they have Ziggler come back from making a movie and lose.

im fine with rollins costing cena the us title in one of his open challenges on the lead up to summerslam. doesnt matter to who... cesaro would suffice with me, i guess owens would be fine but sunday was the time for that.

I think even I would complain if Owens got it like that after what should have been a clean win.

My only problem with this is the short sightedness on the level of CM Punk vs HHH at Night Of Champions level.
You had a match on September 18, 2011 at NoC if CM Punk won, HHH would resign. HHH wins and on Raw October 10, 2011 (23 days later) the Chairman and the Board remove HHH anyways. Why not let Punk's "Voice of the Voiceless" have that? This is another example. If you're going to have Cena lose shortly after anyways why not make Owens at a "special event".

If he loses to someone else then I won't take as much issue with it. At least not anymore than already exists.

And I'd much MUCH rather see that (even if it means Owens getting it like that) than to see them unify the belts and get rid of the US strap immediately after spending all this time bringing it back to relevancy.

I'd argue the US belt is much more relevant right now than the IC title.

You can sprinkle in an occasional one for shock value but I feel the "special events" add to the luster. Cena losing to anyone won't have near the impact as if he had lost to Owens Sunday (especially considering Owens even kicked out of a Super FU).

I'm not saying Owens winning wouldn't have been better. I'm just saying that if he loses it like that to someone else it doesn't add the insult to injury so to speak like it would with Owens taking it in that fashion after the fact.

Please, don't unify the belts. I was happy this summer having a US title defended at "events" and on RAW.
And I can only imagine where things could have gone with Bryan Danielson and his IC title.

for the record, im over it. i had high hopes they knew what they were doing with owens, they didnt, hes just another upper card heel to put the top faces over. thats cool, him and his family will make a living... on to the next one.

I think we may have just got our hopes up too high when they let Owens win the first match in the first place. Even that much was unprecedented and suddenly we have our heads in the clouds thinking he's set for a major push.

and this is why I don't watch this shit anymore. Gave up after JBL beat Eddy and haven't looked back. Being able to operate unchecked because of no competition so you can do things your way even if it leaves a few bucks on the table because no one can compete anyway is the worst thing for a great product.

I can't wait for the Dean Ambrose heel turn. He's a great face cause of his ability in the ring. But his character will reach a new level as a heel. They really need a deeper heel pool.

On pre show they talked about how losing to Cena was a big step back for Owens, as most of us said in the Battleground thread. Excluding the part timers, it would be great if they let Owens/Ambrose/Wyatt loose. Would love for them to be the top heels in the company. Including Wyatt because it seems more logical on this side, he can't be a total face because of the kids.

I respect Rollins, but I can't place him anywhere until I see him solo and without the championship.
