Ziggler doesn't have anything yet... That would be 100x the match DB v Sheamus. And DB could continue to take the path of this generations Mick Foley of elevating stars. I think (at least for one night) DB did his job of helping Roman.

How do you work in a random match between them two? Neither are going to be over as heels and face vs face matches with no title implications involved don't work.

Besides, I think they hinted at Ziggler getting involved in the IC title picture earlier.

But that's a bitter Ziggler acting ungrateful. He's not a heel so that's not going to work.

I get that they would put on a great match but the story behind it still has to make sense.

Usually those matches are like 1-2 babyface vs (insert more heels here). You're going to book Barrett too much as a face if you do some convoluted match where its him vs Ambrose vs Ziggler vs RTruth. I dont know how you build it, but I think theres more money to be had with DB vs Ziggler on a card where most of the matches are likely to be average or below to keep those internet fans happy having this diamond among the proverbial sludge.

Maybe make DB more of a tweener character like they've been and then use Ziggler to call him out on his hypocrisy? Not neccessarily making a DB a heel but at the same time it wouldn't be a traditional face vs face.

When it involves Big Show, Kane, Orton, and 2 guys who haven't been relevant in at least 5 years... what's the surprise? All those components have been boring to me for quite some time.

Tell me how you book Dolph vs Bryan without turning either heel when there's no title implications involved.

I get that they'd both put on a good show in the ring but you can't just pit two guys against each other in a feud if the story behind it doesn't make sense and/or if you can't get said story over with the fans.

Dolph Ziggler, as he's currently booked, isn't going to suddenly turn into a bitter individual jealous of Bryan's previous pushes. That makes absolutely no sense and would ruin whatever good match they'd have together.

There's two components to a good feud: the build up/story and the match itself. You're sacrificing a very important element here just to put two good wrestlers in the ring together.

I'd honestly MUCH rather have Bryan versus Sheamus because you can at least write a story behind that that makes some amount of sense.

It's still face vs face...and probably the two most over faces in the company at that.

You're basically forcing them together in a contrived storyline that makes no sense just to force the match.

You can probably get a job with WWE booking with that kind of mindset.
