But is it really unbelievable when the incarnation of "WCW" that he was turning on the WWF for wasn't ran by the same people on or off screen?
After all, it was Shane McMahon and not Time Warner/Eric Bischoff that he signed up to turn on WWF with. (in storyline, of course)
I don't buy it as unbelievable that he joined WCW just because he had beef with the previous ownership even on screen.
I'll agree retrospectively it could have been much better than it was, but I'm not painting it as the greatest angle that was ever put on television. I'm just saying I enjoyed it while many seem to think it was a steaming pile of shit on par with any John Cena related thing today.
