Daniel Bryan's neck injury is legit. Neither Bryan or the E know how long he'll be out. There's a very remote chance that it could be career-threatening.

The video I saw had him driving down the road and called Christian and left like a 15 minute message that was "i just passed a store... What? A grocery store.. What?"

i dont know about this being career threatening, because austins neck injury led to 2 and a half years or so of the top wrestler in the world [more or less, at least gimmick wise, not work rate]. that being said... this seems like the correct time to run a tournament, have cena/bray be the finals... and put bray over clean. if nothing else, youre putting your "top" face in a position to chase the top heel. and tons of people are cheering wyatt right now, because the gimmick is ridiculously over.

in the mean time, build the eventual cesaro/lesnar face off... which would set up cesaro [as the "top" face] against wyatt.

Sucks for Bryan, but his return (if it happens) and his quest to regain what was lost will be a great story, with some great matches I am sure.

i meant that his work rate dropped after the neck injury. he was legit awesome pre neck injury.

I hope everything goes well with the surgery, I'd hate to see another situation where it turned into a Double A, Edge, or even a Stone Cold type situation where a surgery or something takes away one of the finest in the business right now before his time.

I think it was a nice touch to have Kane drag him out there like that, keeps DB from having to hand over the title.

He was legit awesome again in the "Main Event Brawling" style in 98, so it worked out fine for him, anyway. Plus, after the surgery, the Angle matches had him back to normal for 3-4 months before he was pretty much done for good.
