I wish we had this type of commentary in WWE.

Even in WCW's shitty years the commentators knew how to call a match. (And didn't have corporate forcing them to ruin it)

That's kinda wrong. There's probably been hundreds of WCW matches from 96-98 that we're in the *** range on Nitro/Thunder/PPV/Saturday Night/Worldwide, ect. that was completely ignored so they could talk about the nWo.

I remember some matches that they didn't even mention the names of either of the guys in the ring.

(I guess ignore the match completely is probably better than Lawler at this point, though.)

To be fair, I was only talking about the commentary during the match that I was watching. Not their commentary as a whole.

Loved 'The Game' the first couple times I heard it, but by 2003, I wanted 'My Time' back.

It's kinda like Voices now, I really loved it, now the guy is so boring, I just cringe when I hear it.
