    Much deeper? I can't agree with that. Braves have three ROY contenders and that's just one team.

    AL is loaded with great rookies who only played a couple of months. Full years of Jennings and Lawrie? And even Hosmer? I doubt anyone on this list would come close in that case. Then there's Ackley and Moustakas (having a great September). It should be a fun year for sophomores next season.

    I don't think there is anything stoping you from voting for ROY even if they onle played half a season.

    I was even a bit surprised when the announcers were discussing this the other night that not only does Helly have better numbers than any other rookie pitcher he is in the top bunch in many categories not far behind Verlander in some.
