Which really hot team will most likely be as good at the end of September?

Texas just had their 11 game streak snapped. The White Sox haven't lost since Joey Cora last played. And the New York Mets... I know, the New York Mets, are close to taking the division lead in the NL East. We know Boston is playing hot and that's expected. But did we expect anything from the other 3?


Who's most likely to be still competing at a high level in September, for a playoff spot, or serious contention for a run to the World Series?

Texas because they have the hitting. And we all know that batting wins championships. Especially this season, the Year of the Hitter.

Chicago. They'll win due to the 'Pierre-effect.'

I like the Rangers' team. They have some pitchers that can actually win games now, not to mention Feliz at the end of the game. I wouldn't want to face him needing to score a couple of runs to win a game.

I like Texas for the fact that I think they will make a move for some talent at the deadline, and help them keep up the pace they are already setting.

I think I like the white sox now that Buerhle got his slump out of his system early. They have a good 1-3, Gavin Floyd has decided to show up in June, and Carlos Quentin is looking like the guy Arizona ****ed up and let go too early, of a couple years ago.
