Looks like the whole Soriano thing was overblown.

Why is Nick Johnson hitting clean up?
Because he's a beast?
They don't have anyone else to hit cleanup. Unless you want Soriano

Johnson doesn't have that much pop and Guillen is a better hitter with runners in scoring position not to mention a lot more power. Johnson is a better hitter and should be hitting third. Johnson is far from a beast. Guillen should be clean up and Soriano is perfect for the fifth spot.
And after I say this Johnson hits a three run homer. Classic! I still think Johnson should be thrid and Guillen clean up.
reefer...Good read! Now on some things we do agree!
John Patterson, troubled with right forearm tightness last time out, allowed three runs in six innings versus the Astros on Monday.
Once again, it wasn't quite what Patterson owners were hoping for. He had a 1.00 WHIP, but two of the five hits he allowed were homers off the bats off Lance Berkman and Preston Wilson. Patterson will face the Marlins in Florida on Saturday.

Felix Rodriguez getting suspended for 3 games is a sham and Guillen getting fined is beyond ****ed up while nothing happened to Pedro. Biggest injustice of April.
Another example of the office of Bud the Dud not knowing which end is up!

Armas gave up eight hits, but he walked just one and struck out four. He looked fine in his last outing too, yielding just two runs over five innings, so he's probably okay to use in NL-only leagues at the moment. He'll face the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park and then return home for the Braves next week.

Terrible hitting with the bases loaded and no one out for the Nats with a chance to tie and take the lead. Pathetic!!!
I dunno...I thought Pedro made a great pitch to Guillen to make him GIDP.

Vidro strikes out when all you have to do is hit the ball on the ground not to a corner spot and then Guillen hits the DP ball. Piss poor execution when all they needed was a ball out of the infield. This is exactly why Guillen should be hitting cleanup and Johnson third.
Nationals recalled outfielder Ryan Church from Triple-A New Orleans.
The Nationals are admitting carrying Brandon Watson was a mistake even though Church was just 3-for-23 at New Orleans. A Church-Marlon Byrd platoon in center field is definitely the way the Nationals should have gone initially. Church probably won't hit right away, but he will be an asset in time and he should have a fair amount of value in NL-only leagues.
