    Still no financials, but to update it's 6 years, with an option for a 7th, tacked on to the two years he has left.

    $16.7 million for your franchise player isn't an overpayment in my opinion. I think he took a home town discount actually. Great deal for both sides here! Zimmerman is the second best third baseman in baseball in my eyes, right behind Longoria.
