Junior Spivey suffered a broken wrist while hitting before today's game and is expected to miss eight to 12 weeks.
Sucks for the Nats; luckily, Vidro is back.

I think Spivey is a big loss for the Nats. Its good that Vidro is back but Spivey was doing good for them.
2003 Hybrid World Champion (115-47 reg season, 11-4 playoffs)
TBL: Anaheim Angels 2006-present (238-244 regular season, 1 division title)
MSL: St Louis Cardinals 2013-present (2734-2936 regular season, 5 division titles, 2 championships)
TSSL: Seattle Mariners 2006-2029, Pittsburgh Pirates 2030-present (209-277, 5 division titles w/SEA, 1 championship w/SEA)
Well that trade no longer looks as bright.

Spivey was doing well for them and it does suck. What is great is that the Nationals have exceeded their revenue expectations and have money to actually go and get someone. Preston Wilson would be a bad choice. I would like to see them go after one of the Rangers OFers if they became available.
Vidro will outperform Spivey offensively so it's not a huge blow. A bad thing that happened to happen at a good time, well the best time it could happen I guess. Might take Vidro a bit to get back in the groove.
Too bad for Spivey though.
i think this wont hurt us but if vidro dosent play well coming off his injury we could be in real big in the 2nd half of the season
