Davey kind of sucks in player evaluation. Because he demanded a lefthanded bat, he pushed for the trade of Glove Glover Charles Johnson for Todd Hundley, who had yet to recover from shoulder surgery.

Really a nice move for the Nationals. Johnson can bring a lot to the management team in trying to help build a winner in Washington. He delivered the only Reds playoff that I was old enough to experience in my lifetime, of course that was a game in which the Reds got their asses handed to them by the Braves and we were literally in the second to last row in the stadium, but that was better than this entire decade.
