Turns out, the lefty could not even crack their Class AAA rotation. As a result, the Nationals have released Chacin, who had been signed this winter to a non-guaranteed minor league deal. The team never announced Chacin's release; word of the move only came on Tuesday when Manager Manny Acta was asked about Chacin's whereabouts.
