    That doesn't surprise me. I imagine he will be gone at the end of the season, if not before that. The Lerner group likely wants their own guy in there, and they will likely give Kasten free reign in bringing in someone he wants to work with. It could be Frank Wren, who he has worked with before in Atlanta, and for about a year, was the GM of the Orioles after Gillick departed. Regardless, Bowden was likely gone when a new owner was chosen, and his DUI assured he wouldn't be retained.
