Here's a quick breakdown of what will happen in the near future:
Rosters and ratings will be updated as far as the 2009 season, which means, Florida still has Jeremy Hermida, Milwaukee has JJ Hardy, etc. No big deal in my opinion. Free agent signings between now and the start of the league, won't count either. I think it was mentioned, in two season this won't even matter. As for ratings, I'm concentrating on boosting young guys who broke out or players in general that finally broke out, or because they had a lousy 2008 season and got back on track this season, etc.
Again, I think this is no big deal and makes the most sense.
Eventually I will post a thread with all of the knowledge and information you need to know concerning the league. I'll go into detail then. Of course, feel free to pose any questions or ideas here in the meantime.
Teasers to expect:
-Exporting, I'm for it with the newer OOTP's, you'll enjoy the league even more if you have the game and export. And it's less work for me. BUT, it's not a requirement to join and stay in the league and it never will be.
-I have always been fond of fun drafts, expect to see them in this league too.
-Revamped trade council.
-Matt Stairs, re-born.
-Free agency without insanity
-Overhauling the rules, regulations, and bullshit. It's about fun, good times, laughs, Saber's mom, and beating down CJ's team.
-And more.
I need Mr. Mission to fix the logo and name of this section to BSSL (Baseball Slant Sim League). That will be the beginning of this "epic" journey.
