(Early) team interest thread..

So judging by the response the NL and AL Central is going to be sort of like the ACC and Big East in college football... ya theyre there just no one beyond those teams care. Man the AL is going to be loaded with the way most of the regulars have packed in.

Yeah, you're more than welcome to keep them CJ. I already pencilled you in. I know you'll be active either way, since you have been since you joined TPSL pretty much and you know how the game works. That's all I'm looking for really, activity and general knowledge of the game, both OOTP and MLB in general...

I also (think) I remember reading on the boards at some point that you own or were planning on purchasing OOTP10 at some point, and I'm going to set up exporting from the get-go for those who are able to do it, and hope that others follow suit if the thing gets rolling good...

Hey, if you can talk him into letting you have the Angels, then he can re-join me in whichever division I wind up in. Get him drunk and do it, Saber.

Also, are you pretty sure you're going to pass on PIT this time around? I don't care either way- up to you- but if you're positive you're not going to take them then I'm going to slot Foster into that spot for now.

would you want Oakland to be able to beat up on Saber's Angels? I'm happy with Oakland, but I'd take St. Louis if you really wanted to stay in that division and allow him to have the Halos.

if you want the yankees and makes everything run smoother, i dont really care... i wanted to be in the nl central anyway, since thats the only division ive never been in. i only took the yankees because nick wanted somebody who knew what hes doing to take them... not sure why he thought of me, but my ego was very stroked by the statement.

ill take the cardinals... unless nick wants them, i think hes looking at them. id settle on the pirates too. saber the angels, zito the yankees... thats fine by me.

I kinda would like everyone to stay where they're at for now and not make things too complicated if people want to switch around, but whatever works really. I think KOZ was fully or atleast half-kidding when he said only if hammer let him have the Yankees (I don't see any reason why KOZ would actually want to run the Yankees, based on the types of teams he usually runs or picks to run, but maybe he wasn't kidding).

Either way unless DMB doesn't take the Cubs- and who knows where he even is or if he'll even be around in the next few weeks to claim them-- I'm taking an AL team anyway. The Cards would've been fun but if I'm not being the Cubs (which I'm not hellbent on anyway) I have no intention of landing myself in the NL. I was actually leaning more towards Cleveland maybe.

Prov, I wouldn't be OAK, so unless Saber wants ANH, Zito wants OAK (or vice versa), and you're really that content switching to St. Louis, don't worry about it. I'd rather you keep OAK anyway, since you're the only A's fan on the board and you've used them in most leagues anyway.

If Saber doesn't take the Pirates, I think Foster had them #1 on his list and I was going to slot him in.

And after all of that switching, it leaves hammer without a team anyway if this were to all happen.

I don't care if people switch actually, I didn't mean to sound like I'm discouraging it. But if it means we have 4 or 5 guys swapping teams to take care of business, just decide all of this before we get too deep. It's not like I can't edit the post or anything is written in ink...

Zito does not want Oakland.

I'd prefer to keep the Angels above all else, but only if hammer really wants the cardinals, I would switch to let Saber be the angels. Doppel has a thing for the rangers and Brewerball could be really good for Boston, and those are the only other teams I have definite interest in (I want no part of the NL)

as I said, I'm fine with Oakland. I was just trying to help out if people were trying to get in with certain other people. I don't care. I have no problem with the Cardinals as that was my team in TSSL.
