The Last of the Metropolitans
Eugene Vanwingerden-SP 8-9-9-7 ratings. Has pitched a 2 hitter, a 3 hitter, and a 4 hitter in the last 30 days against the Phillies, Braves, and Nationals. 3.09 ERA Only 10 walks in 67 innings with 34 k's.
This guy is not a #1 or #2 roto SP, but he is a solid #3 for sure. His win loss record needs to be ignored due to his being stuck on a rebuilding team. He is cheap and under control for 2 more years.
Jesus Montero-C 10 power and only 28! He is signed for $4 million through next season. (Cash is available in the right deal.)
Two more noteables are Gary Richardson and Jordan Schafer and several vets who are not worth much if you wanted a bench player or #5 SP for almost nothing.

Re: The Last of the Metropolitans
Doth no one care to acquire a Starting Pitcher with a 2.65 ERA in 14 starts and 84 innings? with only 12 walks and 47 strikeouts?
Hast thou forsaken a firstbaseman with a .332 BA and a .377 OBP?
