Definitely a good thought, but I'd rather trade him for a #3 SP prospect. I hope to get my #2 in this draft depending on who the #1 pick is. I am in a bit of a conundrum. Porcaro, Mitchell, Keuhn, and Donnelly are all power-hitters worthy of the #2 pick, BUT.... I need a pitcher and unless one of those hitters is taken at #1 leaving me Sheedy... My conundrum is whether Rubalcaba with 7 movement or Cudjoe with 6 control is worth more than one of the four mentioned hitters....

Actually, I am leaning towards one player, but what say you?

I hate to stand on toes, but I was wondering who that one player is?
I need pitching too, so Sheedy is looking mighty tempting at #1 for me.

I'd either convert him to OF or trade him, he's too good of a #2 type hitter to waste on the bench. So I'd start him and put up with defensive adventures until you moved him for prospects or pitching.

The draft is kinda funny looking, it looks deep from a 1st round prospective but there's no where a clear cut top 1 or 2 picks, the guy going first could easily go 6-7. If I was doing a mock for this class, the top picks in my opinion would be

Sheedy, Mitchell, and then Robinson unless you had nothing at catcher, then Donnelly is a solid pick. Kuehn is good too but his fielding % isn't great, only plays RF and has zero speed.

Thanks! I will start Ojeda as long as he is on my team!

This draft pool iis slightly frustrating because every one of those players has a flaw, but I guess that is how we show our skill (or in my case... lack thereof) [This really is a nice problem to have though. My conundrum is no fault of the Commish's.]

Re: Metropolitan Research & Development Laboratory

I did a little editting to the draft class, but not much. I think it came in pretty decent. I didn't want to overload it with talent, but at the same time, last years' had little to no pitching in it so I tried to add a little this year. It's pretty balanced.

I think I'll have the order up during the day tomorrow and make the draft thread. No time limits on picking since comp hasn't even unfolded, but since the first 16 picks are protected I figure if you guys want to, we can get it going.

    BIZARRE AND MY MOM!!!!!
