Kinda interested in Delmon... I can affoard him I think, but I have to wait until my FA offer doesn't sign with me (one of 2 offers I made has already been topped by two teams, so I'll probably just withdraw it after the first round.. the other offer is cheap enough to not matter I think).

meh.. nevermind. I'll hope I can land some power-hitting slug in FA in scrap rounds I think. Delmon looks tanked, more tanked that I thought... I don't think he'd last 2 years with my team.

go ahead and make an offer if you like (anyone, not just Nick). I'm not looking for a McCarthy type return (i.e. absolutely nothing in the way of a player, just a salary dump). I'd probably want one 3.5-4.0 spec depending on the player. Young's rating are still good, he runs well, and plays great D at the corner spots. He's not really expensive at $5.1 mil and he won't be 33 until September.

I am in desperate need of a solid 3B! Zimmerman's inconsistency year-to-year and talent loss last season just aren't cutting it for me. I'm looking for a 3B that can play terrific D and has an above average stick. He doesn't need to have power, but should be able to make contact and get on base.

I'm willing to discuss pretty much anything for the right 3B. PM me for discussion.
