Individual team awards dating back to 2007:

With down time before we roll-over, I figured I'd make another one of these history posts.

Scroll through your team history, find awards your teammates over the years have one, post 'em.

I'll list mine in a few. I think JD Drew won a gold glove with me at one point...

Re: Individual team awards dating back to 2007:

I'm really disappointed that I haven't won at least 1 Cy Young in TPSL 2.0. I won 1 in TPSL 1.0 and several in TSSL. I just haven't had an uber-stud this time. I traded Harden and he won it once for the Mets. Then again, I think I only won 1 MVP in TSSL and I've won 3 here.

    2007:

Ryan Zimmerman won the Gold Glove at Third Base.

    2008:

Rafael Furcal won the Gold Glove at Shortstop.

    2009:

Chris Parmelee won the Gold Glove at First Base.
Mark Ellis won the Gold Glove at Second Base.
Ryan Zimmerman won the Gold Glove at Third Base.
Rafael Furcal won the Gold Glove at Shortstop.

    2010:

Chris Parmelee won the Gold Glove at First Base.
Ryan Zimmerman won the Gold Glove at Third Base.

    2011:

Chris Parmelee won the Gold Glove at First Base.
Ryan Zimmerman won the Gold Glove at Third Base.
Rafael Furcal won the Gold Glove at Shortstop.

    2012:

Chris Parmelee won the Gold Glove at First Base.
Jermile Weeks won the Gold Glove at Second Base.

    2013:

Chris Parmelee won the Gold Glove at First Base.
Ryan Zimmerman won the Gold Glove at Third Base.
Alexi Casilla won the Gold Glove at Shortstop.

    2014:

Albert Pujols was named American League-Batter of the Year!
He batted .328 in 558 AB, with 37 homers and 112 RBI.

Chris Parmelee won the Gold Glove at First Base.
Jemile Weeks won the Gold Glove at Second Base.

    2015:

Albert Pujols was named American League-Batter of the Year!
He batted .380 in 542 AB, with 30 homers and 108 RBI.

Chris Parmelee won the Gold Glove at First Base.
Ryan Zimmerman won the Gold Glove at Third Base.

    2016:

Albert Pujols was named American League-Batter of the Year!
He batted .359 in 538 AB, with 24 homers and 105 RBI.

Chris Parmelee won the Gold Glove at First Base.
Jemile Weeks won the Gold Glove at Second Base.
Ryan Zimmerman won the Gold Glove at Third Base.
Cliff Pennington won the Gold Glove at Shortstop.

    2017:

Chris Parmelee won the Gold Glove at First Base.
Cliff Pennington won the Gold Glove at Shortstop.

It's funny. I've won 26 GGs and all of them have been in the infield. No OF, SP, or C GGs. We've won 26 out of the possible 44 IF GGs in the 11 seasons so far (59% of them) and swept the IF GGs twice.

Re: Individual team awards dating back to 2007:

I'm gonna start in 2006, even though that was a simmed season.
Why? The best award of all was that year...

J.D. Drew won the Gold Glove at Rightfield.

    2007:
    n/a

    2008:
Kosuke Fukudome was named National League Rookie of the Year Award !
He batted .222 in 528 AB, with 22 homers and 91 RBI.
Russell Martin won the Gold Glove at Catcher.

    2009:
Russell Martin won the Gold Glove at Catcher.

    2010:

    2011:

    2014:
Russell Martin won the Gold Glove at Catcher.

    2016:

    2017:
Kosuke Fukudome won the Gold Glove at Rightfield.

    ==========================================

A lot less than I expected. But it isn't surprising... I never really had any defensive rocks, atleast none that have stayed around long enough to matter, so the lack of GGs doesn't shock me. I knew going in I didn't have an MVP to my honor. Fukudome could've won another GG any given year probably, but I constantly shuffled him between LF, CF, RF... and (atleast now) he's only really servicable in RF, where I kept him all season for the first time in his career.

Fukudome with my only ROTY, and he probably didn't deserve it at all.. and he's retiring this year I believe.

    Woo, back to back Cys.
2011 - Dioner Navarro won the Gold Glove at Catcher.
Garret Anderson won the Gold Glove at Leftfield. Another WTF
2013 - Rickie Weeks won the Gold Glove at Second Base.
2014 - Mat Gamel won the Gold Glove at Third Base.
2015 - Stephen Strasburgh was named National League-Pitcher of the year !
In 36 games started, he pitched 249.1 innings, fanning 220 and walking 52 batters.
2016 - Yovani Gallardo was named National League-Pitcher of the year !
In 41 games started, he pitched 274.2 innings, fanning 212 and walking 41 batters. 3rd Cy Young, back to back for the team

I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

I took over in 2012, I believe. I've won 9 Gold Gloves, and nothing else, and in my time as GM, I've had 4 Gold Gloves in 6 seasons. Maybe one of these years the team will win something.....I'd trade all those GG's for a WS though...
