I will roll over Friday afternoon, and free agency will begin a couple days thereafter. I still am hoping we can fill the 3 openings before free agency runs, but I'm not going to wait forever. Regardless, FA will probably start sometime next week... unless the spots fill before Friday, I guess.

phew.. it should be up within the next 20 on the site.

I didn't want to report back with bad news, but up until just now, there wasn't any good news to report.

Each time I would proceed to the offseason, it would do everything normal until it got to the Generating Amateurs spot. It kept locking up there.

I figured out the issue, and since I had been trying this on multiple backups, nothing is lost at all... it should finally officially roll over in a few, barring another **** up (lol... knock on wood)

nah, file was fine... I had actually generated the report and shit an hour ago or whenenver I made that post, and it was ready to be uploaded..

but my soundcard stopped functioning and I had to download new drivers, install them, restart... etc. It hasn't worked for like 3 days and I finally got sick of it and restarted the cpu this morning. That didn't fix it... so I installed new drivers over the old ones, and it seems to have fixed it.. not that it matters.. lol

Site is uploaded now... I activated any injured players who were ready to come off the DL so they wouldn't be forgotten about after we rolled over...

I must admit, after the initial collapse of the file, I only had one backup and it wasn't loading at first.
Tthe game was freezing at startup-- the file that crashed was titled TPSL.lg and the backup was 2018backup.lg ... well, since the TPSL.lg folder was the one that loaded at startup, and that league folder went haywire, each time the game would load it would freezeup... so eventually I changed the folder names around, and it loaded the backup.

Then I made about 4 more backups heh.. and on the 3rd try I figured out what the initial problem (generating the ammy draft in the offseason) was being caused by, and thankfully that resolved it.

Major pain in the ass though... but I'm just glad I didn't lose the file, because there wouldn't be a TPSL pt. 3...

That would've been depressing to lose Crazy's League and your league in a month or so. I would only have had one sim league left. Glad you were able to fix it...Like I said before, Go Nick!
