2 players on one team overcome by the vapors? Intriguing...but the best one.
SEA: Carlos Triunfel was injured being hit by a pitch.
Diagnosis: Heatstroke.
Gives new meaning to the term "heater"
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
Oh, and we're really good.

I'll be surprised if any good FA SPs ever want to talk to me in the future with the death trap Chicago South Side seems to be.
First Willis goes to shit, now Gorz has a 16+ ERA.

As for the sim itself, its encouraging. Still early but the running seems to have paid off so far. Francis will get his chance to redeem himself because, simply put, hes the last guy that can start on this team that im comfortable with. Viciedo's injury was frustrating but Crawford will take over in his spot and should be okay as the DH. Lobstein had a great sim as well as Triunfel (despite suffering heatstroke on a HBP ). This will probably disappoint the people expecting me to *****. But its only 15 games, and still like the direction they are going.

The offense is nice, and Triunfel (like I said) could win and should win MVP if you can make the playoffs and Pujols doesn't have a monster year... or any other A's member. I'd be most concerned about losing Bowden, he's nearly a lost cause at this point and if he declines a bunch, bam. I truly thought he'd be pretty good this season too...
Viciedo hurts too, because it seemed like he had came a long ways and was primed to break out.
I think it overall weakens the core of your team, more so Bowden, but hey... that's what the scrap heap/waiver wire is for.

7-4.. 1 game back in the AL Central after the first SIM... not bad
The Good:
Cameron Maybin finally hitting like his ratings show he can...
Yulienski Gourriel back after last year's injury and performing well, even though he did lose a couple points in talent and ratings
The Bad:
Leadoff hitter Julius Leday with a .130 BA
Nobody above 3 steals in spite of this team having some great base stealers
The Ugly:
Andrew Miller, historically a good pitcher, with an enormous 17.47ERA and being unable to get out of the 4th inning so far
Power hitting Jeff Larish with an OPS of .637 in the 4 and 5 hole in the lineup
