Dave, I think if Cameron does it this season (which is looks like he will, barring this jinx), he will become the first 40-40 player since TPSL began...

I think Beltran missed 40-40 by 1 SB or 1 HR during his run with Colorado... one of his really good years, anyway. Wright came close with Florida.

Galloway (CHN) has a chance at 40-40 this year too, but Maybin should do it with ease at this rate.

Every division in the NL is pretty much decided, except maybe the East. Pretty lame... it seems way too early, but there's a lot of bottomfeeders this year so it's going to be like that I guess.

I'd still wait until the deadline is right there and see if you fall any further out, Prov. It just takes a few wins one way and a couple losses the other. Nothing against SEA or Porter at all, but you still have a better team on paper and if that's worth anything/you can get healthy in August and Sep, you should still win the division. SEA's pyth is pretty bad... but maybe it just wasn't the A's year.

it just seems like my pitchers keep getting injured:

Madson twice for a total of 10 1/2 weeks
Hirsh for 5 weeks (maybe he needed it)
Roe twice for a total of 7 1/2 weeks
Mazzaro for a month
Casilla for a week (not that he's pitched well anyway)
Asahina for a week

The other starters have been inconsistent (McCarthy), flat out sucked (Manhardt, Rosario), or OK (Olsen). It hard to win games with that combo of injuries and under-performance. I know I should be in 1st according to Pythagorean, but Porter's team is always +5 or more games it seems.

For all the nightmarish stuff thats happened to this franchise. Ill take the damn +6. Its only been the past 2 seasons ive been at a +6. Im not exactly full strength either. While Oakland is a better team on paper easily. The lead would still be by a game or 2. I can't explain how this team is winning, But to say that im always a +6 is not even close to the case outside of the last 2 seasons.

As for the team at hand, I wished the pitching wouldn't have a 5.00 ERA and thought it would be a little better. And considering I haven't had my DH and my #2 SP, a bullpen outside of Marmol and maybe Moskos/Bruney that cant get anyone out. Kiker is inconsistent and Lobstein is 1-5 since starting 10-0. No offense taken nick. But the fact the team is finally having success and still get the oh this team is playing above their heads gets annoying after a while. Its pretty obivious they are not good but are winning.
