    News Playoff Rosters

Because Im so Jazzed about getting into the playoffs and bored out of my mind. I wish to introduce the 25 man roster for you AL Central Champions Kansas City Royals.

Player # Pos Birthday Bats Throws AVG HR RBI SB OPS
    CATCHERS
    James Skelton 75 C 10/28/1985 Left Right .307 3 57 1 .761
    Brian McCann 18 DH 2/20/1984 Left Right .283 13 89 17 .761

McCann will handle Catching Duties if Skelton cannot.

    INFIELDER
    Ivan Dejesus 41 SS 5/1/1987 Right Right .330 0 19 0 .788
    Ian Kinsler 83 2B 6/22/1982 Right Right .267 16 79 26 .739
    Travis Mattair 21 3B 12/21/1988 Right Right .252 16 77 1 .758
    Rafael Furcal 1 SS 8/24/1978 Both Right .265 3 39 13 .659
    Jeff Bianchi 14 SS 10/5/1986 Right Right .275 7 49 20 .692
    Juan Uribe 5 2B 7/22/1979 Right Right .308 1 1 0 1.000

KoZ's trash became a very valuable role guy on my bench with the glove and bat.
Uribe was signed just for this reason, hopefully he and Furcal see time at SS if needed over Pie.

    OUTFIELDER
    Felix Pie 20 LF 2/8/1985 Left Left .260 17 79 14 .721
    Lastings Milledge 27 RF 4/5/1985 Right Right .296 7 68 43 .766
    Masajuurou Yoshiyuki 94 CF 5/18/1991 Right Right .260 15 82 8 .742
    Chris Lubanski 41 LF 3/24/1985 Left Left .275 10 58 8 .752
    Carroll Cooksey 68 RF 5/15/1991 Right Right .263 7 48 8 .713

I love having 17 HRs sitting on my bench waiting. Pie lost his starting job over Lubanski when McCann was acquired. Lubanski was one of the hottest bats I had in Sept.

Milledge was one of the best acquisitions of the offseason, been very consist with the ops and has speed to makes things happen as leadoff.
