yeah, I knew the length would get that fat **** into the fold. this year is probably my last real shot before guys start falling off the face of the planet here. Pujols and Fielder will mash. $8.1 mil isn't that much and the total is $8.3 mil less than what Slyder offered.

It's spread out so I'm OK with it. My fan interest is 100, our TV contracts went up by $2 mil total, I've got $20 mil in cash, over $18 mil in FA, and my revenue last year was over $105 mil so I'm not worried. We've turned a profit every year and our revenue (along with our attendance) has increased every year since 2008.

I guess Pujols will go to LF, Mitchell to CF, and Fielder to DH.

Got a 9 contact and good baserunning/stealing backup 2B/3B/SS for under 1 MIL... pretty much what I was hoping for... add that to the lefty long reliever/spot emergency starter and the 8 contact backup catcher, and I think I've accomplished what I set out to do.. at a minimal of cost
