Was my sandwich pick from last season simply a boosted Jed Golla of the 2011 draft?
Very active off-season as far as development lol.
Wednesday 2/1/2016:
Frank Manhardt seems to have improved his pure stuff!
Frank Manhardt is hitting his spots better, his command improved!
10,9,8,9 now and not too far off really.
Cody Buckel seems to have lost some of his feel for his stuff...
Cody Buckel's control seems to have taken a bump...
fell from grace...was 8,8,8,8 I believe.
Cedrick Sanchez's pitches have more bite now, the movement has improved!
Cedrick Sanchez is hitting his spots better, his command improved!
may be useful yet.
Steve Sykes is hitting his spots better, his command improved!
decent now.
Mary Cantrell is hitting his spots better, his command improved!
of no importance.
Trinidad Tomblin increased his bat control, resulting in more contact!
fringe with bench potential.
TV revenue increased by $2 mil...woo hoo!
Mofo -- for all of the sandwich picks, I editted rookies with no relevance on the teams in which the sandwich picks were going to.
when you generate a player, it creates him with MLB service years. Even if you generate a "youngster" or whatever they call it. Why OOTP 6.5 does this, I have no idea. You can't edit service yrs or minor league service yrs even in OOTP 6.5.
This wouldn't be a problem really, but it would prevent the generated comp picks from ever winning ROTY because it away their rookie status from the get-go, which also pushes their contract stuff like arby status up and everything else up a few seasons.
So I editted minor league players from any previous draft, AS LONG as they were completely irrelevant, and had no major league service time. Minor league service time is not a problem for various reasons, one being we don't use 40-men rosters, and another being I didn't impliment the 6-yr Minors Free Agent setting (something I've considered doing at some point, but need to come up with a strategy for how I would work it... but for now minor league options don't matter because its not clicked on)
Long story short.... the players from previous drafts had their attributes, and age editted to fit in similar with the players of position around the same time in the draft. Truthfully, I meant to edit their names too, but I guess I forgot. Mofo, if you want to rename him something cool like Dick Elvis or something, be my guest.
Also, honestly, I'm remembering now... but did you want an OFer? Or did you want a 1B or 3B? I'll fix it for you if you didn't want the comp to be an OFer.

I'm really excited for this season. Adding some offense in Quentin and Uggla should help out big time.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
Seattle is over .500!!!!!!!!!! ....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nick, why didn't Dontrelle Willis pitch at all in the opening sim?
edit: I see. You have Poreda listed in my rotation and not Willis.

Man, I'm sorry Leo.... I don't even know how I missed that. Atleast he won a POTG.

With the collective underperformance of my offense this sim I doubt Willis would have made any difference.
Especially when you take into consideration his underperformance since I signed him.

I wonder if Dontrelle has a chance at 250 wins.
