If the playoffs started today the A's would play the Yanks

I have the best record in the AL, wouldn't I play Cleveland this time because they have the worst record among the potential playoff teams? Why would Cleveland play the Wild Card? I'm supposed to, but not if it's from the west.

Along with his 600 homeruns, Albert collected 2865 hits and 1803 RBI in 15 seasons. Albert hit 30+ homeruns in a season 14 times, hitting 40 bombs 7 times. 'It's hard to believe that I did it. Who cares its still better than the past.

My offense consists of Carlos Triunfel, Adam Jones and speedsters in Rhodes, Johnson and Almonte. Sooner or Later...Ill either fade or get better which they still can do.

the season isn't exactly over so it doesn't matter who is in first right now. anyone can see which team is truly better.

That's only true at the end of the season.

Right now everything is still up for grabs and one can argue that the truly "better" team has a very good chance of overcoming the current deficit if it can be shown that the team above them has been relying on a lot of luck. (Not saying that is or is not the case with Seattle, just arguing a conceptual point here.)

When the season's over "is" becomes better than "should be" because nothing can change it anymore.
