I haven't said my was better than Oakland. I said its better than my past. So what I'm a plus nine right now. OOTP will find a way to screw me over again.

I didn't say you said your team was better. I said that in regards to the standings right now; that anyone could see which team is better. regardless, you're leading the division so kudos. your team is playing better than it has in the past. I'll be surprised if I don't end up winning the division and shocked if I missed the playoffs entirely. you definitely have a good chance of making the playoffs if your Pythagorean records remains high like that.
There still is a lot of tweaking to do with the offense to get some more runs. Going from 7 guys with 10 power to a team built on speed, defense and decent pitching has helped.

I strayed away from that philosophy and it did bring sustained success in most leagues (the speed and defense part). It sucked that Alvarez took a major hit in discipline (7 to 5) that I could end up platooning Johnson and Alvarez next season. The key is Sierra Jr, if he gets near those solid ratings and helps out Triunfel and Jones. I like the direction they are going. Bowden could rival McCarthy as the most frustrating SP ever.

well, my team's extended run will be over shortly as a few key pieces are aging away so you and LAA will have some fun. I might be able to squeak one more year after this year. at some point I need to give McCarthy another extended shot whether it be in the rotation or in the pen.
Wow. Give me a ****ing break.
Adis Portillo has lost some movement on his pitches...
From 9-8-8 to 9-7-5...RIP
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
Prov, give to me the wildcard.
Nick, your boy Clarence Wilbanks is worthless. Doesn't hit singles, doubles, or triples, and he doesn't draw any walks. Doesn't steal bases well, and he can't field worth a shit.
But I still love him.

Jimmy Rollins and Roy Oswalt have both retired. Oswalt leaves us still rated 10-9-7. Farewell guys.

Sure, if you unretire him. But it's not like he'll be missed.

Nah, not really. I stopped unretiring players a few seasons ago... it was messing with the all-time leaderboards, because it would create a duplicate player file and I don't know how to remove it without an app to modify retired players stats. Anyone who has come back in the past 2 seasons is all game-based...

What a way to lose a lot of low scoring games. But still only 1.5 games back and Im down to a plus 7 now. Just make the damn playoffs is all I ask.

3.0 back of San Diego after a really nice sim (9-1 in my last 10).
Still not sure what to make of it... the offense just isn't very good.

Aaron Miller keeps crushing the ball too, which is good, because Loney doesn't remember how to hit LHP.
