Agreed. I don't think Milwaukee's headed for world championship #3, but I think we could hover around .500 if all goes right.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

    Hey Nick 2 questions:

1 did you ever get your predictions down?

2 Can I DH SP Rio Ruiz once the draft occurs for consistant ABs at least until he either dies as a hitter or fills out ?

I'm gonna try hard to keep Tanner too, but I'm not the Yankees... 20 million is about 20% of my payroll... not less than 10%...

You don't have to worry about the Yankees acquiring Tanner, because looking at their roster, they don't have anything that would get him.
You're right, it wasn't dumb, for the yankees. Excellent move by Perf Ed.

    suck a ****.

and then cain deal was not that bad for walls. hughes been a real solid pitcher for him at a much better price, and bruney been a mediocre to decent reliever for him, for a guyt who wouldnt take 20+ mil in an extension for him. thats a damn solid deal for a guy he was gonna lose at the end of the year for a 1st rounder who may or may not pan out.

More than half was written, and I should have time to finish it off. I will post them tonight as I'm simming. It's a cool write up. Probably shows I have no life more than anything, but hey! This is sim baseball. its so real

I guess offering a player basically 175 million over 7 years, which he rejected, and then trading him for what was the best deal I was offered is a bad move... Hughes isn't awful. Injury prone, but not awful. Granted, Cain is a beast, but I'd rather get something for him than nothing at all.

Yeah, look at all the championships the yankees have won in the other leagues. It's one thing to have money to buy everything, it's another to actually be smart about it and get results.

You're also bitter cause you were outbid on nearly everyone you wanted to bring back. As usual.

To all those that like to bash my predictions.

Until someone else makes a full prediction (AL and NL). Don't complain.

Yeah, it takes huge smarts to throw upwards of $18-22 million at the most valuable free agents in order to outbid everyone else, which includes the disliked organizations that had no chance to begin with.

I wasn't outbid on Berkman, Headley, and Holliday, and Santana never liked my organization. Yeah, I'm bitter, but it's for reasons that were out of my control. And if you're such a ******* genius about knowing how to spend your money, why don't you get all the best players available all the time?
