Are you a moron or do you just play one on the forums? Why would I have any inclination to start a guy who's career ERA as a starter is 6.50. You don't strike out people as a starter, you give up too many homeruns (and that was at Safeco no less) and frankly you just don't have it to be a SP. You're JP Howell, the only chance you have to be decent is pitching 1-2 innings at a time.

No I figured if you wanted to pass me for the 1st pick, you'd start me.

Well, it largely depends. Honestly, I really don't have many quality ML caliber players right now. I dislike tanking, hate it in fact, but if you do not have a competitive team and simply cut bait and build up the farm, it's better than let's say someone like, oh, um, Dam, who doesn't bother filling out lineups and essentially goes with a 15 man roster. As opposed to Slyder, who's team just sucks and stocks up the farm, waits in the weeds, and springs into action when he has enough talent. At least in the case of Slyder tanking, he's active and still trying/caring/giving a damn. I don't have much talent, and frankly everyone I demoted for you bums weren't that good to begin with- statistically.

If prospects develop and I can actually get something worthwhile in free agency and what not, I'll again try to compete. But as soon as I see that it's pointless for the season, I'll switch back to this. I do kinda like tanking like this, it's amusing and hopefully next year, I can insert Saber and PA into the madness.

I don't think it matters one way or the other since Inoa and everyone else has mostly been terrible. That and, I had no closer, you seemed like the most hilarious option. And you haven't disappointed. As soon as Cecil or Dick or even Shadow straighten out, you'll just be a regular reliever.
