Terrible start for my pitching, unfortunately just like last year. My pen is pretty horrid, but not nearly as horrid as it has been so far. Nevius needs to pitch a little better and the rest of the pen (Corpas, I'm looking at you) have to stop sucking. Shields has been the only solid player in the pen, which isn't surprising cause he has always been good in relief.

I'm also sort of praying secretly that MR Tiemann, currently in AAA, gains enough ratings to be of help to the pen this year. He's pretty much my only viable MR option in the minors.

- Looked in the offseason for improved BA hitters, so far so good
- Wanted a little more speed in the lineup

- Some of my guys can't stay this hot
- Kazmir and Sheets need to wake up, and Barnese is failing in the rotation again... he might be moving to the pen shortly


Overall I like where I'm at, going to make a few tweaks for the next sim and see how they go

It's a "meh" kinda team at the moment with the 7-7 start. Nothing to spectacular at the moment, but I really didn't expect anyhthing yet. If the pitching would match the hitting, we got something good going on in the Back Bay.

Another slow start for Detroit.. with no explanation except underproduction.... Big names with big power and good contact just not getting the job done... and the bullpen sucking like Tracy Lords at a porn reunion with Ron Jeremy... seem slike we are getting bad at preventing SB's too. Tartamella only throwing out 18.8% of runners so far... We're supposed to be the best at stealing, but not the worst at defense against steals
