Tuesday 7/25/2011 : Neal Cotts's control seems to have taken a bump...
I didn't even know I had Cotts on my team.
Must have been on the DL from the previous owner and never activated?

Kudos to Oakland for being a great hot streak. Its more about them winning a crapload of games than my team sucking it up. I still have the 2nd best record in the AL. Exeecding expectations so far. But I do need to make a move before the deadline to shore up the offense just a tad that or they need to get out of the funk they are in.
Edit: Tui is out for 5 to 6 weeks. So once again I will blow a god damn 8 game lead. I hate OOTP.

Gained a half game on Nick, which isn't as much as I hoped, but I'm still a game up on the wild card. The rankings on my numbers are down, but the team is still doing well, and the number that counts the most, runs scored, I went up to 1st in. I am very happy with the trades I made, however Pena lost talent this sim, so I probably should have traded him instead of the younger Dan Johnson. O well, Pena's now the same as Johnson talent wise, so it's not that bad. He's still having a great year. I love how I took on Jose Guillen as a salary dump from Halladay, and he proceeds to hit .353 in his last 5 games with me gotta resign him quick before his numbers have a chance to go up.
this is going to be an exciting fight to the finish between me, nick, brown and crazy. Good luck to all!!!
what about Florida and New York? That race is closer than both the Central and West races.
they're tight, but they're not as close as us. Milwaukee, San Fran, Colorado, St. Louis and LA are all seperated by 4 games. But yes, those guys are in the mix as well. The entire NL is very close. There are 7 teams that could all potentially make 4 spots.
they're tighter...1 game difference between them. 1.5 in the Central and 5 in the West. My division is half a game right now and the AL East is 4.5 games. The AL Central has the largest difference. There is still plenty of time, but they're all pretty close right now.
I need more Matt Walkers.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

Wilkerson and McLouth are better than Jose Guillen, ask Zito how poorly Guillen does in COL
Guillen only good when hitting HRs
