SPs get f'd up in this league?...

I dunno about that... Meche was 15-11 with a 4.31 era, Weaver was 16-11 with a 3.48 era, and Hill was 14-10 with a 3.91 era (and a prior Cy young winner), and Francis was 15-9 with a 4.26 ERA...... not to mention Hill and Weaver had excellent WHIP, and Francis' was not bad by any means either...

Not to mention this is the AL we're talking about. That's 4 starters with 14+ wins. And Buscholz and Young both had 10 to boot... although Young busted for you pretty bad...

I'd say your starting staff actually was one of the best in the league though, all things factored in.... if anything, I'd suggest retooling the bullpen before you break up the rotation...

Meche has been pretty much what I expected. Weaver was 5-5 for the M's after trading for him and his ERA went up a run after I got him. The M's can't score runs for Hill, no matter who is in the lineup. Francis had 4 seasons of a Sub-4 ERA when I acquired him and proceeded to watch him blow up the past 2 years. Buchholz was an All-Star Pitcher and pitched his way out of the rotation. Young, I don't know where to begin with him. You have to realize my frustration. This team was 1st in Runs Scored and Top 5 in Runs Allowed. I was 9 games up in the AL West and lost as many as 17 games to Oakland in July and August. My pitching was as low as 19th with that rotation that Im beyond frustrated with. I cant explain how it happened and its frustrates me to no end. Its not a knock at you but have to see where I'm coming from.
My bullpen is not great but it took some talent hits as well.
