both sides agreed to it... i'm probably giving up a big spect in gallagher in a gamble in livan because you never know what you get with livan hernandez, but i like that im getting tony pena who i feel will rebound and chris snyder provides depth should i be unable to sign a backup C.

probably wouldnt have given pena another shot this year, until late if everybody else failed... livan is livan, i wanted to go young in the 5th spot in the rotation, and livan probably wouldve been relegated to middle reliever duty... and snyder was the 4th catcher in the rotation. so i get two young spects to wait on instead.
