I know the PM said to drop one of the spects and it would be fine probably but I wanted another pitcher in some form in return for basically taking 8 mil back in Batista. Adcock and Tillman are both many many years away from contributing and thats why I originally thought I could get the reliever. I guess I underestimated the value of relief spects to this trade council.

I almost want to decline this for the sole fact that he's blatantly spitting in our face... but Adcock is terrible, so whatever. Gil Meche sucks, I don't know why he doesn't realize this... and Batista will probably retire before his contract expires.

I believe he has the money due to trading Guillen ($5.5 mil)...he took $1.5 mil back in that deal so that's $4 mil right there...he King deal fail...he would have been losing $700k in that deal.

Pass because I'm also sick of hearing his complaining...and obviously, Porter must be happy with it. He clearly is looking for a replacement for Felix when he does move him.
